Prayer Focus: May 2021
Intercession brings us into deeper recesses of God’s heart.
During a time of intercession, the LORD’s presence manifested in a profound way and a prose arose from this time:
It’s all about you, Jesus Not what I can do or how I can do, When I come into Your presence, You draw me, Beyond what I could ever do of myself, I want to love You in a way that I have never before, Yes Lord! It’s all about You, It’s all about You
When I look at Your face, my Love, my LORD, My heart is full, overflowing of You, I’m like a child wanting to lap on you
To trust You, to obey You, To worship You, to love You, With all of my heart? I ask, “Now what does that mean LORD?” And You said, “Look at that cross, that is my all for you My son, Now, would you give Me all of your heart?”
Scriptural Focus
As we keep the place of intercession with GOD, may we continue to dwell deeper into His heart, a greater measure of the revelation of who He is revealed to us. GOD, we need you more and more!
Joel 2:12-13, “Now, therefore,” says the LORD, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the LORD your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.
The Fear of the LORD
The Fear of the Lord is the constant firm foundation that we must built upon. The Fear of the Lord cleanses and purifies by fire, it is the beginning of Wisdom and the treasure that we must continually keep in sight before us.
Scriptural Focus
Proverbs tells us that there are no other precious stones, jewel, and wealth that could compare to the value of Wisdom. We ask that the LORD continually bring us into the place of vision, for without vision, we cast of restrain.
Proverbs 2:1-5, "My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you, So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding; Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding, If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures; Then you will understand the fear of the LORD, And find the knowledge of God."
The LORD by understanding established the heavens, and we ask for the heavenly understanding and discernment to leads us in the pathways of Righteousness, Justice, Equity, and every Good Path as we intercede for the Nations. O! Holiness unto the LORD!
Proverbs 2:6-9, "For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly; He guards the paths of justice, And preserves the way of His saints. Then you will understand righteousness and justice, Equity and every good path."
